Flagship secures strategic partnership status to help deliver 1500 new affordable homes

Homes England has announced its new strategic partners for the Affordable Homes Programme 2021-26, including one of the largest housing providers in the East of England, Flagship Group.

Flagship has been named alongside 30 other partners and will help to deliver nearly 90,000 affordable homes over the next five years.

Tony Tann, Managing Director of Flagship Homes (the Group’s development company) said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be named as a Homes England strategic partner. The partnership will give us the funding, flexibility and confidence needed to build new affordable homes in our region.”

Building new affordable homes is one of Flagship’s ten strategic priorities and is central to the Groups’ vision of solving the housing crisis in the East of England. As a strategic partner, Flagship has been awarded a grant to help deliver 1500 new affordable homes.

Tony continued: “Our Group’s vision is ambitious and rightly so. We know we cannot fulfil it alone. We’re looking forward to building on our relationships with Homes England and other likeminded organisations; sharing expertise, insight and experience to help make a difference for generations to come.”

There are a lot of challenges in building new homes, but by ensuring homes are affordable and available for all, Flagship can not only provide homes, but create sustainable communities too.
