Estuary Welcomes New Chair of the Board

After a rigorous recruitment process, Ian Green has been appointed as Chair Designate of the Estuary Housing Association Board of Directors and will formally succeed George Kieffer as Chair at the September 2022 AGM.

Ian Green, Chief Executive, Terrence Higgins Trust, has over 25 years’ experience in leadership roles in both not-for-profit, housing and social care sectors.

The Board appointed Panel concluded that Ian Green was the “stand out” candidate and exactly met the requirements identified by the Board for the new Chair.

The current Chair of the Board, George Kieffer, is due to retire after 8 years of service with Estuary. During this time, George has made a significant contribution to Estuary, also acting as a Director of Accession Homes Ltd and Estuary Homes Design Ltd.
