Grand Union appoints Director of Governance & Risk

Milton-Keynes based housing provider, Grand Union Housing Group, has appointed Suzanne Maguire, former Head of Governance & Legal Services at Catalyst Housing Limited, as its new Director of Governance & Risk.

Suzanne, who joined the 12,000-home housing association recently, is a qualified solicitor with more than 10 years’ experience in the commercial real estate sector.

Mona Shah, Grand Union’s Executive Director of Finance & Business Services said: “I am delighted that Suzanne is joining the Grand Union team. She has a proven track record in governance and legal services and is therefore ideal to ensure we meet the requirements of the Regulator of Social Housing’s regulatory framework.

“Suzanne will also take on the role of Company Secretary and oversee the team responsible for governance administration, risk management and internal audit.”

Suzanne said: “I am delighted and honoured to have been appointed as the new Director of Governance & Risk at Grand Union. I am very much looking forward to developing a strategic governance framework, supporting Board members to carry out their role and being part of a talented Leadership team.”
